Salvation Repentance Prayer
In today's world of greasy grace, people are on a slippery slope that leads further and further away from the Lord. Grace goes hand in hand with repentance. But what is repentance? Exaltly what is involved in repentance? Let's see what the bible says about repentance.
So repent (change your mind and purpose) turn around and return to God that your sins, may be erased (be blotted out, wiped clean) that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord; and that He may send (to you) Christ Jesus (the Messiah) who before was designated and appointed for you (Acts 3:19-20).
If we (freely) admit that we have sinned and confess our sins. He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promise) and will forgive our sins (dismiss our lawlessness) and continuously cleanse us from all unrighteousness (everything not in conformity to His will and purpose, through an action. If we say we have not sinned, we contradict
His Word and make Him a Liar, and His Word is not in us (the divine message of the gospel) is not in our heart. (1 John1:9-10)
Repentance is a regular thing. When we say the sinner's prayer and repent, we are turning away from our old sinful life, it's a choice I made and embracing God's way going forward. Our sins are washed away by His Blood. The key is to acknowledge those sins and confess them out loud to God. The old saying "Confession is good for the soul", is very true!! Once we enter the kingdom of God, we still live in a fallen world and it take time for God to clean us up. So I say to you yes, you will mess up occasionally.
Repentance is a Beautiful thing! Here is a prayer of repentance that will help you. Sometimes it's hard to repent but you have to decide what you want more, the world or God. If you choose God, you will follow through with repentance because that is where it starts.

The Prayer
Father I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. I confess that I am a sinner O Lord, I have lived a sinful and evil life. I ask you to forgive me. I repent of the sin in my life Lord. I choose right now to turn away from my old life and follow you into a New Life!!!
I ask you Lord Jesus to come into my heart and save me from my sins. Cleanse me from all evil and unrighteusness. I ask for your blood to cover my sins and make me white as snow. I receive you into my heart Lord Jesus to be my Lord, my Saviour, my master from this day forth and even forever more!!!
I thank you Lord for saving me!!! Thank you for covering all my sins under the blood!!!! Thank you for giving me a whole new life. I ask you Lord to help me to grow into the man/woman son/daughter of God you have created me to be in Jesus' name I ask. Amen Amen and Amen!!!
